Noise.

I'm listening to noise right now...usually I don't bother anymore, since I'm quite comfortable with the silence again, but today it needed to be filled. "I know noisy noises please this fool/but hear my plan and understand why I feel so cruel/"....

I was drawing during D&D last night. Finished a sketch of Meta I need to ink now. Spootle. I still haven't coloured Merfle. I'm making a list of things I need to make for C-ACE. I'm kindof at a loss, since I don't really know what animal stuff people will expect me to have. I don't want to not have something, but on the other hand I don't want to have too much stuff and end up bringing it all home with me either. Of course, stuff that does come home will just end up on Furbid anyway...ideas anyone?

[livejournal.com profile] wolfmagex, [livejournal.com profile] celticphooka, [livejournal.com profile] metachaos, [livejournal.com profile] cypherwulf: I will get your aura readings done a little later in the day, I think. I'm not really awake yet, as usual. *LOL*

Were-Stick-Man may make an appearance on my conbadge this year. He's my friend. :)

Alright. Done rambling. I've been doing some serious thoughts lately, no thanks to Coyote's BB (spoot!), and thus I think my brain is broken and leaking. It's warmer outside, I want to take a staff and go for a walk in the park later. TTYL.

I've been asked several times in the last while about how I read auras online, so I'm just going to post it here.

For those who just want to know how you read auras period:

How to Read Auras.

For those of you interested in how the heck I could possibly get any sort of reading on anyone over a computer, I will try to explain without sounding like a total crackhead. I too am a skeptic, believe it or not - I have to experience things first before I begin to really believe.

An aura is an electrical field around your body, I suppose. Electricity, light, heat - it's all energy, whatever form it takes. So you are surrounded by a field of energy. I have a thought that when you post somewhere, you are, to a degree, transferring part of your energy via the machine and its' connection to the internet, to wherever it lodges. Whatever little bit of your spirit travels along fiberoptics and modem lines stays impressioned on your words and images online. It's almost as if it's you've left a fingerprint on your online verbage. It's also why sometimes I can sense the feeling and emotions of someone's post while reading it, and it's not a feeling one gets from just the words. It's very hard to sense tone online, though...so sometimes it helps.

Anyway...

My theory on reading over the internet is the same as reading someone over the phone - I think it has something to do with the fact that we really are connected - through energy from screens, electricity, fiber-optics and light, modems etc. I suppose not everone considers that "energy" in a metaphysical sense, but it's real enough to work for me. Not everyone has the ability to sort out an energy pattern through all of that, but I never seem to have a problem. I think I've a touch of technomancer in me. :p The trick to reading an aura comes after finding that energy "fingerprint". And no, not everyone leaves enough of an impression for me to follow, and sometimes I'll have to wait for them to post something again.

As to how I actually do this...I center, of course, and lay my hands on the screen over your post/webpage/picture/whatever. Usually I can see it with my eyes closed, a sort of afterimage ghosted from staring at the screen too long. :p I concentrate on what essence of you is in that post, and it usually coalesces in my mind's eye into a spot on the "screen" blackness I see there as well. At that point I will lose the afterimage entirely, and only see the black space where the screen is and the "fingerprint". Sometimes it's centered onto the screen, othertimes it's offcenter. I don't really know why. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the position of the image or post.

I "push" the energy, have a sensation of following a path or rushing down a tunnel very very quickly, and then I can usually see a very pale outline of energy around a humanoid outline. I concentrate some more, and then I usually get the aura. That's how it works, at least for me. I'm usually fairly accurate, from what the people I've read tell me later.

So that's it. Woot. You may now resume whatever you were doing. :p

One day you’ll walk the world
and keep in mind
The heart you’ve been given
in winter time
And through the bitter cold,
with opened eyes
You’ll find the strength to fight
and stand upright
