Met my Mom and Drew at McD's in the morning getting breakfast here in town. Mom told me I was "getting skinny". *GLEE* She's never told me that before in my life. It made me perky.
*SQUEEEEE* I love the Janis elf. I HATE the Ottawa airport - lack of signage BAD - but I love the Starfall elfy. :D And Sandra, her mother, is an amazing lady. I played peekaboo around a column from her near customs, trying to work up the nerve to ask if she was Sandra. Heh. All I knew was that she had red hair. :p Elfy brought me shinieeees!! And her Mom gave me awesome bath stuffs. :D
I hate driving in Ottawa. You have to drive by intuition. If I look at a map I get confused. If I just remember where I'm going, I'm good. We had a good sushi lunch, looked at WAY too many pretties in the market, and then hit the Sassy Bead Co. O_O I just about lost my mind. Got some great carnelian and copper stuff, and some things for my water necklace. :D And then...and then...Mrr!! The Crystal Dawn!! *hyperhyperhyper* (I still haven't calmed down much from last night...) Mmmm pagan shinies...incense....ravens! *quork* Jason found a cool copy of Marvel SuperHeroes in good condition across the street for $10. Was a good day.
Back at the hotel...well...I decided to get a day pass for C-ACE and hang around for the chocolate social, meet some folks in the dealer's room. Mm. Was goodness. Yscy rules. AmaraFox is a hoot to hang out with - and HEY! We're paranormal. :p I want a shirt that says that now. Good folks at C-ACE. Not uncomfortable at all, which I was dreading would be the case. Starfall sketched and coloured...I ran chocolate runs...Jason stayed upstairs in the room and read and watched TV...Sandra shopped. Dinner was a blast too - we had fun yanking the waitor's chain, and he played right back. :)
Jason and I left around 11 PM...a very excellent day, really. I don't think Sandra wanted us to leave. :p We might go back to Ottawa tonight and stay there so we don't have to run in the morning tommorow trying to get back to the airport. Mm. I hope some of my stuff sells in the dealer's room. If it doesn't tho, I know I've made contacts. :D
Whee! Today it's around town with Boo, beads and Hershey's and visiting Mom. Should be good. I am so relaxed and happy for a change. :) Talk to you later!
