Sun.

It's sunny today. I love sunlight. There's something about sitting in a comfortable, sun-flooded place and basking your feathers in it. Quork.

I'm taking advantage of the sun today to do some cleaning. Changing cloths on my altars, getting myself a little more set for Beltaine. Mrrf. I think that this is a Wolf Moon week, but I'm afraid to ask - I'm hardly ever able to go, hardly around for them...I feel like I'm taking and not giving anything back. I wish I was closer...but then again I also wish I was farther away. When we were in Bancroft it reminded me of living in a small town. As much as it has its' drawbacks, it also has its' benefits. I miss living closer to the glory of wild Danu.

Don't get me wrong - the city holds her own glories of Danu, and I treasure them. But it's just not the same. There's just something in me that loves being out in the emptyness of the country. Jeff says I'd miss the access I have to everthing here. I don't think it would matter. You always have to trade something off to have something else. That's life. Ah well...I'll stop musing about it. It just makes me ache for something I can't have.

Mrrf. I am really going to try hard to get some jewelry done today. I've been slacking off all week and I need to get at least 2 things done before I delve into the weekend. Easter's not really one of my holidays, but I am still cooking. Go figure. I might make some bread for dinner. I'm going to Mass with Jeff on Sunday - what can I say? I like Mass. It's very pagan. :p

Anyway...I'm gonna go finish my housework. I've been putting stuff off too long.

Yes, it's a Wolf Moon week - we're back on Thursdays for the time being, in our never-ending quest to find a night that generates the fewest time conflicts possible, so it's tonight.

Don't worry about not being able to make it too often - we're happy to see you whenever you can, but we do understand the travel difficulties given how far away you live. I suspect tonight's probably too short notice for you to make, but you're welcome pretty much any time...
