I feel absolutely insane and inside out right now. I've just decided to go to C-ACE, get a dealer's table, and sell some of my jewellry and assorted animal-related products. Woo. O_o If I don't have an anxiety attack from his sudden decision to walk into the midst of a group of total strangers in an environment I am highly unsure of, it'll be a miracle.

O_O AAAAH!

Ok, I'm better now. The Elfy will save me. o_o

I think you'll like CACE. There's no reason to be scared (unless you count me as a reason, of course) -- the atmosphere was relaxed, clean (nothing to draw the fanboys!), and fun. The dealer's den ended up being less of a dealer's den and more of a giant sketch party/chatroom. The panels, discussions and classes just flat-out kicked ass. And, if you got tired of the 'con, you could just start poking around the shops in Ottawa, and go to the Parliament buildings and whatnot.

Overall, the con was very well-run and nothing but fun to attend. X

chirr

One day you’ll walk the world
and keep in mind
The heart you’ve been given
in winter time
And through the bitter cold,
with opened eyes
You’ll find the strength to fight
and stand upright
