our pleasant sunny afternoon became a cold, howling night blowing huge flakes of slashing ice crystals out of the northwest. it is beautiful, in its' own way - the Storm Moon is living up to its' name, at least.

i think i will observe with a candle or two tonight, and be grateful to be indoors making incense.

The moon is pretty epic tonight. it's starting to cool down, but not severely yet... though our strong southern wind has completely died down. i suspect tomorrow will be bright but chilly again. i think i may go for a walk in the moonlight.

we had a wicked storm. 90 km/hr wind gusts slammed the house all night, and we lost power for most of the night. it's gotten a touch chilly in here because of it. It's around -21 C. with the wind...yesterday afternoon it was nearly 10 C.
