1. Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
2. Turn to page 56.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post that sentence along with these instructions in your LiveJournal.
5. Don't dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST.

"It was neither oppidum nor town, more a carefully oriented collection of oak, rowan, and hazel groves interspersed with small villages of Druid dwellings."

Mine doesn't really merit an LJ post in its own right, but if it had been the sixth sentence instead of the fifth, it totally would have: "It's said that cumin seeds give breast milk a lovely flavour."

The fifth sentence was much less interesting - something about adding cumin to potato pancakes. Yes, it was a cookbook, specifically one for moms with small children. :-)

Neat. :) Although I'll never know about the cumin seeds; I have a cumin allergy.

My book is a work of historical fiction, titled simply "Caesar", for a little context.
One day you’ll walk the world
and keep in mind
The heart you’ve been given
in winter time
And through the bitter cold,
with opened eyes
You’ll find the strength to fight
and stand upright
