Been working on a few things here, getting ready for a Norse invocation ritual in March. I've tried to find a balance between historical accuracy, and modern materials, and my own aesthetic. I am hoping these pieces fit the bill. As well as more individual pieces shown here, I will have a set of regalia for Freya to create.

I will have a bunch more of these to do; this is the first set I've done.

That's what I've done, up to this point. Enjoy!

Very nice. :) I had no idea about apron jewelry.

These are awesome. I especially love the apron beads, Vaino's rune, and Val's Hammer. Heavy and rich.

Wonderful! Thanks for posting these, I was curious about the Norse shineys. Now how about pics of garb? *pretty please?*

I'd have to take pictures of ours, if coveners would let me. If you're curious, just look up "Norse Apron Dress" or "SCA pictures" on Google - you're bound to find some pictures of the ladies in their rather-more-authenic-historically dresses than us crazy Wiccans. (Although our HPs and HP are SCAdians and we do end up with some nice garb.)

I hope your coven can understand all the effort you put into these peices. They are extremely beautiful.
One day you’ll walk the world
and keep in mind
The heart you’ve been given
in winter time
And through the bitter cold,
with opened eyes
You’ll find the strength to fight
and stand upright
