Dream?

I had a dream last night of climbing through dark, narrow labrythine tunnels, all squares stacked on one another, underneath a house. Very little light. A sense of water. At one point I stop, I look - there is a pile of buns in the corner below me as I prepare to descend the steel ladder down to the next level. I blink - that's very confusing imagery. And then suddenly something has launched itself at my head and is clinging to me - not painfully, tho. It's Meallá - affectionately known around the house as "Stupid Cat". I awake.

Upon awaking I see the cats have had an active night - perhaps a good night in cat-dragon relations? - and Meallá, who has a penchant for getting into tight spaces, and high places, has been up on some spots. In the kitchen there's a bun, on the counter - they were on the top shelf of the pantry. I put it in the fridge wondering why it's out. I go to the bathroom - looking down the stairs, I see my riding helmet is knocked off the high second shelf of the craft cubby. And then I see the strangest thing - another bun, shredded and battered by cats, in the basement. O_O

I dream of buns and basements, and the cat delivers. SO fucking weird.

Which came first, the cat or the dream??

I've always thought that cats knew more than they tell :-)

Yes, the cats were very active apparently

You didn't notice that the rest of the buns had made it into the fridge huh?
the cats managed to get them down. that one was a few inches from the bag in the middle of the living room.

So i stumbled through the house and stuffed them into the fridge. i put the one i thought they had battered around on the counter.

i had thought we had left 5 buns and couldn't figure out why i could only find 4.
I shouldn't try and think that early in the morning.

One day you’ll walk the world
and keep in mind
The heart you’ve been given
in winter time
And through the bitter cold,
with opened eyes
You’ll find the strength to fight
and stand upright
