I dyed my hair again last night. Not usually post-worthy, but this colour is nuclear.

Not the most flattering picture, but whatever. The sun was damn bright, and I should have worn my sunglasses.

This is what happens when I get bored and I have pure pigment dyes AND a lift boost. I doubt it'll stay nuclear beyond a week, but right now it's on fire.

It's the one part of me, dermatologically speaking, that I have much success with. I have to deep condition once a week, but otherwise it's really good.

Oh yeah. This is the colour boost I add to my regular dye...just without the regular dye, and a mix between the pure red and the pure copper. And it's a permanent dye, which is good because I use permanent dyes and don't wanna start mixing semi-permanent and permanent to get this colour.

The dye as it's going on is blaze orange, like hunting hats. It's a little scary. Never know how it's gonna turn out.

The lift boost is just bleach, basically, that takes the base colour up a couple levels as you dye. Doesn't work well on darker hair, but since my hair's not dark it lightens my base colour to almost blond as it dyes.

I like to have really bright hair in the summer. Not sure why.

It's not as bright this morning, since I've washed it out, but the colour is still there. I find it interesting that the roots are brilliant orange, and the ends are red, and there's some shading between in the length of it.

Thank you. :>
One day you’ll walk the world
and keep in mind
The heart you’ve been given
in winter time
And through the bitter cold,
with opened eyes
You’ll find the strength to fight
and stand upright
