Mom just left. I am *so* fucking tired. Visine can't save me. Coffee isn't keeping me awake. I guess I need to see a doctor about this insomnia crap.

It's cold as hell and dangerous outside. Strong winds, sheer ice, and more snow on the way. But strangely, I like it. Mom is not so sure, since she's driving, but I think it will be ok. Better today than yesterday.

My glasses broke this morning. Mom was kind enough to take me to a place downtown where a nice man put new arms on them, before she went home. Yay.

Mom also helped me finish my apron for the Bríd thing next weekend. Need to make buttons again, though. *sigh* The eternal struggle of the buttons.

psst - http://www.ajisai.ca = <3. OMG so good. Much love for the food there. Definetely worth it.

Be good to each other.

No Lenscrafters here...we'd have to go to Barrie. *shrugs* Might be worthwhile, though...I think I lost my glass cleaning kit in the move.

I can help...

One day you’ll walk the world
and keep in mind
The heart you’ve been given
in winter time
And through the bitter cold,
with opened eyes
You’ll find the strength to fight
and stand upright
