Something Awful found me.

I'm sure you've all seen the site before. Only took them ten years to find me. Must be scrapin' pretty hard for their "Awful Link of the Day" these days. They've done the obligatory fat joke, and picked on my nickname, and the fact I have Otherkin pages.

Oh, how upset I am. Watch me cry. *snerk*

Edit: I got worried their traffic would put me over my bandwidth, so I changed some stuff around. Page'll be back to normal when they're done jerking themselves off thinking they're clever little people. Oh, and *LOL* apparently they picked up my site off Portal of Evil dot Com. Totally unoriginal.

Maybe they'll click some Google ads when they're there.

*nods* I don't think I've read the site in 2 or 3 years.

It doesn't help me, though; I'm paranoid and anxious to begin with. :p I don't like that I've had to shut the site down to keep it from getting blown up, but I had to. I can rationalize most things, I'm intelligent enough to parry away most of their lame 'thrusts', but when that paranoid voice starts talkin' it's better to just turn it all off and let them go away.

I just don't get why they think I'm unaware that I'm fat. I mean, fuck - I have PCOS and Diabetes. One develops the other, and vice versa. Toss in that being fat can cause either disease, and BOTH diseases encourage you to stay fat. It all breaks down to the fact that I'm just fucking fat. That's the reality of it. Mind you...having weighed about 80 pounds more than this, that was FAT. And I didn't enjoy it.

The rest is just puerile. I mean, take "therian", change it to anything - "Otherkin", "Furry", "LARPer", "goth" - and you have the same rotating joke they put up weekly.

Mind you, I'm fairly sure their other targets either do what I did, or get indignant because they're not smart enough to realize that's what SA wants.

I'm vaguely amused by the weak jibe on my nickname, though. I loathe the name "Morgana", however you spell it. I refuse to be associated with "Morgana Le Fay", mostly I think because I utterly loathe the Arthurian myths, and the idiots who think it's all real and historical the way it's written. I really don't get people who are Arthurian pagans, either - it just breaks my head. I think I read too many crappy Arthurian tales in Medieval

I wonder if they ever get tired of picking on the same old subcultures every time. They're about as passe as the lame furry jokes they make.
It's good that you aren't taking this so hard, cause it really doesn't deserve a measure of your time.
