Oct. 19th, 2005 07:58 amHouse blessing was performed yesterday, and went well.
I have a strong need for incense powders or sticks. I don't have any, and have no way to replace them due to the nowhere to get them from problem. I can't burn cheap stuff, and it has to be made with essential oils and resins only - allergic to artificial scents. I am not wanting to keep burning through my charcoal, tho...nowhere to replace that around here, either. :\
Another Cat 5 hurricane rattling up through the Gulf...lowest pressure ever recorded in the Atlantic Basin. She's a beast, and well-constructed. Scary as fuck. Floridians et. al. better keep a damn close eye on Wilma - she is supposed to take a a sharp turn left across Florida, but she might just go anywhere.
I have such a love/hate relationship with these storms.
Zathras is drinking the milk from my Corn Bran. It's sad that I regard Corn Bran cereal as a treat, and have since childhood...we didn't get a lot of sugar cereals, so Corn Bran was a special occasion away from Alpha-Bits and Cheerios and hot cereal.
*LOL*
It's laundry day. I get to watch satellite TV at Linda's and wish I was still asleep. Oh well. Clean clothes = teh good. I am still in love with autumn right now...blustery blue-grey stormy windy stuff. Should be nice out there, with all those trees. J and I sat down at the waterfront yesterday evening, watching the lake rolling across the beach...moody. Silere would have liked it.
Ah well. Off for the morning.
