1. if you woke up one morning to discover that you were invisible, what would you do?
I would so spend the day totally naked in the back yard getting a sunburn, or playing in the rain, or something.
2. if you could make one major world event not have taken place, which one would it be and why?
I honestly don't know. Probably the Inquisition, or possibly the fall of Rome.
3. what's the recipe for that hot&sour soup you made and brought to winter solstice a couple of years ago?
We use Asian Home Gourmet (http://www.asianhomegourmet.com/szechotandso.html) spice paste. Basic vegetarian variety of this is to cook as many bean sprouts, mushrooms and red cabbage sliced as thin as you want it until a little soft, then add spice paste + 4 cups of water to it. We then usually add a beaten egg to the soup, 1/3 c. of rice wine vinegar for the sour part, and thicken it with corn starch slurry. You can add tofu (or chicken) as you like (or don't). The cabbage will turn the soup purple. :)
4. what kind of house would you most like to live in?
A clean one. :p I like old stone country houses, the ones with hardwood floors and big windows with windowseats, and coloured stained glass accents. I have always wanted one.
5. who is your favourite chanteuse?
Currently unknown. I don't think I really have a favorite female singer.
