Ostara is only a few days away now...the full moon is tommorow...and I'm ready to wake Spring. We've had a very dramatic temperature shift here...it was cold and snowy last weekend, and this one we hit 11 C! Awesome weather. It's 14 C. here today - gonna go out for a walk later. :) All the snow is melting away...nice to see after a long, normal Canadian winter - which is COLD and SNOWY! >_<

Have to remember to pick up my prescription when we're out later too. Hrrm.

Spent Saturday evening and Sunday at Jason's parents - we finally had "Christmas". I got a Swiffer WetJet!! YAY! Jeff calls me the "Cleaninator" - I guess I get to cleaninate all the thatch-roofed cottages too. :) Jason got a nice sweater, and so did I...it'll go well with my black velvet pants. Christmas in March is kinda cool. :) Later I took my present from his brother (a gift certificate from Michael's) and bought some more crafty clay. I also bought some fabric spray paint and a craft shirt - did some nifty things with that.

I was also given a "hand me down" blood glucose monitor this weekend. It's fast, easy to use, and I don't feel like I'm in the dark anymore. However, having gone the weekend without my glucophage has spiked my blood sugar numbers, so hopefully once I've gotten that all sorted out and back on schedule, I'll be right as rain. :) I'm not afraid of the lil' pricky thing anymore either. It's good. :)

Gods...so much to do! I have so much to get ready for the howl still, and I feel like I need to clean the whole house as well now that it's warmer. I have all the windows open - air the cat smell out! - and they're just happy as clams to each have a window to sit in and watch the world go by.

I hope everyone else is having their little bit of Spring right now too - we need it.

One day you’ll walk the world
and keep in mind
The heart you’ve been given
in winter time
And through the bitter cold,
with opened eyes
You’ll find the strength to fight
and stand upright
