Sick v 2.5
Feb. 25th, 2003 11:12 amBah. Woke up this morning with a sore throat and a nose crammed full of nasty bits.
I am SO sorry that these aura readings are taking so long between updates, guys. I'm not usually slow at all on them...I guess I've just been really tired. I'll try to have a go at them later, after I've done some drawing and what not - I find having been creative helps me.
marf.
Still farkin' cold up here. -10 F last night...-23 C. And that didn't include the windchill - howlin' like a bansidhe last night.
So when WVZ tells me that I shouldn't really expect warmth from Alabama at the end of March, I say to him: 50 F. was the overnight temperature there RIGHT NOW. Not -10 F. It's all relative. There's no damn heaps of snow to vault through. There's no hoarfrost on the INSIDE of the house windows. 50 F. is spring here. That's a nice day in early MAY. It's sweater weather. So yeah...I will be odd, but I will also be a Canadian rejoicing in relative warmth at the howl. Even if it rains. :p
Bansidhe wind makes the windchimes in the neighbourhood go, though, so it's rather soothing to me, if not a little eerie. Wind made me shifty last night, too. Dreamt of wolves...howling wolves, old friends, sickness, healing...reconciliation.
Marf. I'm off to attempt to finish some art projects I'm working on - I'm trying to make a little portable "spell shrine" for my true form matrix spell. I don't know how well it'll work, but I can try, right? Talka you later.
