M. gave me some nice toys to play with this weekend...mmm beads. Thought I'd post a few.

Black Coyote - this is for a certain 'yote.

Unnamed - M. gave me the big blue and copper triangles...I made the pendant. This is a huge, heavy necklace - about 28" long. The ankh is 2" itself.

Bloodstone - I'm wearing this one right now. I am in love...it's like armor. Massive, smooth...mm. Love eet.

Unnamed - Lapis is growing on me, as a stone. I wanted something nice to wear with my Egyptian robe at Convo, and this happened to be pretty close to my mind's eye. Mm.

Of course, now I need more beads. Hopefully sell some stuff in the next little while, and restock.
-M.

I REALLY like the bloodstone one. Like, really a lot. How much would you charge for a similar one?

I couldn't make one for you - I can't get the parts here. I know M. got the bloodstone itself in Toronto at the Sassy Bead Company. I just spaced the 16" strand out with the metal spacers, and strung it in groups of five in the order they were on the temp. strand. If you were to go buy the spacers and bloodstone yourself it wouldn't cost you more than $15-20, I'm sure.

Those are lovely :)

Any chance you'd part with the blue/copper triangle one? I'd buy that in a heartbeat.

Lizard Rat out.

If it doesn't sell at the convention in 2 weeks, I'll let you know.

Why is it called Bloodstone? Looks like grey to me through the monitor.

It's called bloodstone because the stone itself is spattered with little red spots. It's a dark dark green stone - almost black. And the necklace is made out of it.

Lurvely. I was handed a huge rope of unpolished turquoise this weekend. I could probably kill someone with it. Of course I don't like turquoise...

I <3 the bloodstone and 'yote ones. I still have the bloodstones you gave me long ago... and still wear them on a belly chain sometimes. Mom insists it's the Pill and the Evening Primrose that has helped so much, but if I take off the bloodstone, I hurt again. Go figure.

Those are, as always, spectacular! You have a wonderful talent.

On the same lines, back in the day when twister beaded necklaces were all the craze I hored quite a bit. But they really just collect dust. Would you like them? I'll look today and see what kind of beans they are. Just let me know.

That'd be awesome, lady. :)
One day you’ll walk the world
and keep in mind
The heart you’ve been given
in winter time
And through the bitter cold,
with opened eyes
You’ll find the strength to fight
and stand upright
