I had a good birthday. Jeff and Jacqueline came with Jason and I for dinner, and totally embarassed me with the singing and the wheel of prizes. >_< D'oh! But we had a good time, and a nice cake at home (mmm purple roses!). Jeff gave me a great looking candle holder with brown speckled glass, and a spirally stand - it fits into my horned god altar as if it had always been there. Jacqueline gave me this cute little brown bat plush from Ontario Parks - he even has a loop so he can hang upside down. :) Yay bats!

Steve - I forgot you were getting your wisdom teeth out! I'm sorry - I hope that you heal well, and that it's tolerable pain. :) Get better soon!

A sad note: They found a dead crow here on MY street, Sherbrooke St., infected with West Nile. I am afraid to even give my kindred a proper burial and prayer now...the prayer will have to suffice to send them to Summerland if we see any on the sides of the road. :( A somber and unhappy Morrigan, today.

So anyway...I'm off to Barrie this weekend, to spend some time with Jason's father, stepmom and brother. Should be interesting. I myself am kinda tired, for some reason, probably too much sugar... O_o I will be back Monday sometime, and I'll fill you in then.

Thanks everybody for all your birthday greetings and wishes! :)

One day you’ll walk the world
and keep in mind
The heart you’ve been given
in winter time
And through the bitter cold,
with opened eyes
You’ll find the strength to fight
and stand upright
