Short, brief.

A dark place, little light, breathing walls. Smoky, sacred-smell. Familiar. Rustling, unsettled air.

Hunted. Lionesses chasing, bearing down. Claws like obsidian, eyes like white fire. I run...I lose. I am marked, and I Change. I fly away.

A dark place, little light, breathing walls. Smoky, sacred-smell. Familiar. A swift movement, almost unseen.

A woman, coal black. Black skin, black hair, black fangs and black heart. Red drips from her fingernails, her claws. White fire burns in her eyes, is her eyes. I know her. She has tasted my flesh before.

She beckons. I awake.

Intense... quick and fast paced... I wonder... it seems like you're being hunted... why?

I don't know. I don't know why Sehkmet would be out to hunt me, or hurt me like it seems to be. I am not a threat to her. I will ask her, but it is hard here, in my apartment filled with Celtic dreams...Morrigan is silent and sullen, remaining distant. I have no space in which inviting another would not offend her. I will have to go elsewhere, and make the time...

Moira thought that the previous dream referred to being fostered out, a common practice of the Tuatha - that you are sent as a child to live with another family to be raised and taught of the world, to bring different skills home with you when you return.

I don't know. I don't know why Sehkmet feels the need to keep "marking" me - it doesn't feel malicious when she wounds me, rather just like she is leaving a sign of her on my skin. I bleed, but it doesn't hurt in the dream...It just hurts like hell in this world. There aren't any marks, though...just a really horrid pain. Sehkmet is the protectress of Ra - so unless she percieves me to be a threat to the Sun God, I don't know why she'd keep doing this. In a previous encounter, she struck me as a sign of acceptance, but it was a different sort of dream.

Unless a Voidsinger is a threat to Ra...Mreh. I might be a moon bird, but I'm not much of a threat. I really don't know.

One day you’ll walk the world
and keep in mind
The heart you’ve been given
in winter time
And through the bitter cold,
with opened eyes
You’ll find the strength to fight
and stand upright
