barkman, and then offer 5 questions in return to those who submit a form back to the Interview Hub's main desk.
Without further ado, Morgandria will respond to the questions frombarkman.
1. Feeling more positive about the world?
Yes, and then no. Things aren't bad right now, but neither am I at either edge of manic or depressed. It's pretty even - it makes it easier to view the world on a more even keel. I'm still paranoid, tho, and I am still waiting for the other shoe to drop, for whatever reason.
2. How do we fit together so well?
Well, if you want to believe Chinese astrology, it's because you're a Tiger and I'm a Horse. I'd be more likely to say that we have complementary personalities. You can be outgoing and talkative, whereas I'm far more introverted and introspective. I draw you into quiet spaces when you need them, and you in turn make sure I have some contact with the world outside the house, which normally I'm inclined to just hide from. We motivate one another. We have a shared sense of humour, to a certain extent, and many shared interests and hobbies, but we're also different enough from one another to be able to do our own things separately and not demand all of each other's time.
3. What would you change about me?
Mostly house-related things, like giving you the ability to see what's dirty to me and what's ok. I hate it when you leave your wet towels in the bed in the morning...that's a nasty surprise to roll into while I'm asleep. I wish I could share my colour sense with you, too.
4. What would you like to change about yourself?
I'd like a non-Virgo libido, please. I'm pretty happy with myself physically, but I don't like all the extra hair my PCOS seems inclined to make me grow. It still embarrasses me when someone teases me about it, even though I've accepted it for the most part.
I really wish I wasn't so paranoid all the time. It paralyzes me too much. Being bi-polar and this whole social anxiety thing could go to hell, too. I used to be able to function in the world a lot better when I was younger. I wish I knew where I was spiritually again. Uncertainty is really hard for me.
5. What would you like to change about our relationship?
I don't know. It's good, most of the time. I guess the only thing that gets to me is I only really feel appreciated when I'm not at home...it seems like when I go away for a week or more is the only time you seem to notice what I do at home is work. *shrugs* I don't know.
