"Owl sees and knows the truth. Its' ability to navigate through the darkest night and bring back nourishment for itself and others is the foundation of this essence. When you have lost your way, Owl's essence will guide you back to your proper path and wisdom."

An interesting thought, for someone who feels without purpose. That's really the issue. I haven't really lost faith, persay - I still love the Gods, I still want to walk those ways. I just feel directionless. Hopefully, in time, I'll find a sense of purpose again.

Yesterday, I was around many owls, and thought of you. It was my first meeting with a local wildlife rehabilitation group. The owlish disability theme of the night seemed to be cataracts, as even a very young great horned was developing them. There was also a gorgeous, young raven there whom could not be released, because the man they rescued him from had taught him to steal mail.

I wonder how those owls will learn to adapt with one of their most primary of senses obscured. A grand perception shift, though at least they have their ears, which is really no where near a least at all.

And that poor raven, being directed toward a more rigid life path, because he was too good of a messenger!

Hm. What of Morgandria? Strength. :>
One day you’ll walk the world
and keep in mind
The heart you’ve been given
in winter time
And through the bitter cold,
with opened eyes
You’ll find the strength to fight
and stand upright
