Jason didn't get the job. Contemplating giving up magic as a practice simply because it never works.

Being were is money-repellant. Being pagan also seems to be money-repellant. Twice-damned.

Still sick. It's got my blood sugar all off and it's making my eyes very sore. My back won't stop spasming.

I should finish my painting this week - only five things left. One positive thought.

Forgive me if my moods fail today. Curling up in a ball shall now commence. :\

Being were isn't money repellent. Takes luck and effort to get there like it does for everyone else is all.

I don't want to in ANY way add to the shit you are going through now, but what you said came very close to my heart, and I have had many conversations regarding this ... and the end result is always - we live in mundania, and that is the role we must play.

Unfortunately, being pagan, or were, is not a paying gig for most. Sure, their are a few authors and occult shop owners, but for the most part, we are stuck in the "real" world.

When it started happening to me, I had to completely refocu on mundania for a while ... nor rits, or classes, or books, or what-have-you on paganism or anything related ... just focus on "being a muggle".

It worked, and helped me realize that my life was out of balance - you can' let the pendulum swing too far either way ...

Anyway, it's something to try, but meanwhile .... *HUGS*

All I've been doing lately is work - getting ready for the dealer's room at a con, so beading and painting and other such fun things. I have no pagan life at the moment.

I'm not one to believe in magic myself, but I am a bit ignorant on the subject! Still, I find it hard to believe you'd just up and give up on it. How long have you been doing magic?

Since I was about 3. Consciously and skilled? For about the last 10 years.

Viking-esque rampages with a blunt splitting wedge and nailguns can commence at any time. I've had a good run - might as well go out for a good cause. You do your thing; I'll smack down anyone who spits at that. Just because the mass populace is too gormless to know what's what is no cause to be doing anything unfortunate. Now, that's just my opinion, but hey.

hehehe Viking rage, yay.
