Dark rainy day here. It's moody as hell, but sort of refreshing after months of blinding sun and snow. Everything's melty...

Uterus hates me again, although this is not as bad as last time. I'd still kill for some drugs. Stupid PCOS.

I plan on curling up with my boy and some lit candles later. Mm. I need some more good stick incense, although I'm not going to find it in Peterborough. I suppose I will sacrifice a charcoal disk and burn some of the good stuff today.

Still don't know what to do with my iolite. Anyway....luvs to everyone.

What is Iolite? Sounds like a cleaning solution for the back of the computer. :)

Have a good weekend!

Iolite is a pale, clear purple-boue stone sometimes called water sapphire. I love the stuff. :) I want my engagement ring to be iolite.

Two makers of really good stick incense, made from essential oils:

http://www.botanical-creations.com - We picked up some of their stuff at a pagan store in Kansas City, and it's soooooo nice. We have the Black Copal; Clove, Cardamom and Patchouli; and Petitgrain, Cinnamon and Nutmeg. The copal is my favourite and the clove etc. is Ladyjane's. Online you can even get them in boxes of 100.

http://www.airsworld.com - This was our favourite brand of incense before we found the other one, it's still a close second. I like the Russian Amber; Vetiver, Oakmoss and Patchouli; and Kashmir best. I don't know if these are 100% natural the way the Botanical Creations are, but I think they have at least a fair amount of natural stuff in them, and they smell really nice, although also very strong.

pair them with irregularly-shaped warm-coloured pearls. If I can find a design similar to what I'm picturing, I'll post it.
One day you’ll walk the world
and keep in mind
The heart you’ve been given
in winter time
And through the bitter cold,
with opened eyes
You’ll find the strength to fight
and stand upright
