Dream.
Veils of misty rain. Pearl-grey days met indigo forest met peridot leaves and mossy fern-bracken.
Ravens marked silver-white like screech owls chased screech owls iridescent like ravens. In the distance a white wolf become a black wolf became a silver wolf. Eyes held something like wine in a chalice, but smoky and elusive.
Hounds bayed and a pale fawn leapt into the circle of birds to reveal the sun. The forest gilded copper and gold, and then morning came.
