witchscauldronWell huzzah - I have a cold. It exploded in my head last night at LARP - by the time we were at the bar afterwards, all I wanted was a hot bath and bed. Of course, a hot bath isn't gonna happen, so I got some milk for my tea, and hit the pillow. Given that I didn't even skim the surface of consciousness until around 10 AM today (which is unusual since I'm usually up at least once in a night), I think I needed it.
I wish I was still there. Achy nasty body, buzzy stuffy head, sniffly nose, sore throat, queasy stomach...bah. I'm sure I've got Karen's bug from Bancroft. Thanks...thanks a lot. :p
Today I'm working on some rune stuff. I've got a set to make for a friend, as well as a bunch of stuff to print off for him. I hope he'll enjoy them. I also have to format said stuff for my BoS and replace the pages currently in there. Mm. Eventually I will get some of this information online, I hope. That could take a while, tho. Whee.
I've also been updating Witchs' Cauldron Creations. If you look under the Updates section, you'll see what's new on the page this month. The rosaries are so much fun to create - I really like them. :)
I have yet to get photos of the rune pendants I have here - they'll be added to the site shortly. These pendants will SO not be expensive - I'm hoping they'll sell. I also promised Yelth I'd take some piccies of the jewelry I sell at LARP. That too, needs to be done.
I am hoping/praying and doing work towards the end of business picking up online. Offline it puts about $30-35 a week into my pocket lately, which keeps gas in the car and a bit of food in the fridge, but I have debt piling up, and I'd really like to make a living from my creations again. I'm still looking for a job, tho. Can't not.
Oh, and if anyone could spare energy/happy thoughts our way for jobs, it'd be appreciated. Jason just applied for a new position with the school board proper, and I'm waiting to hear back about some babysitting, and a few jobs at various stores.
Argh. And for some reason I'm convinced I need a blue robe. O_o I don't know why - I hardly wear mine as it is. Ah well. Maybe I'll just pull a Kevin Carlyon and wear a blue bathrobe. :p
Whee. Apparently I'm talkative (typative?) when I'm sick. Blee. I'm gonna keep working on this rune stuff, and then go lie down again. Wendy-witch, if you're reading this today, I may or may not be at the open house tonight, depending on how well I feel and how much I want to possibly infect others.
