It's finally raining here. Cool wind is moving - the humidity has finally left me. YAY! I hate feeling sticky just sitting in a chair.
I guess no-one got my stupid little Construction joke. :p Feh. There are only two seasons in Canada - Winter, and Construction.
Mm. I'm halfway through writing my Mabon ritual invocations. I haven't yet decided whether or not I will do this ritual Wiccan-style with a cast circle, or Druid-style with offerings and hallowed space. Running out of time.
Haven't decided yet about going home on the weekend, either. I don't really want to miss the Equinox being in someone else's house, away from my own sacred spaces, and unable to perform my ritual. But I also really would like to see my best friend a while, and go to the Plowing Match with my mother. And of course there's always the question of whether we can afford to go at all, which is a big NO, as usual. Mm. Chances are I won't be able to, but we'll have to see.
It's starting to turn beautiful here. Colour is lovely...there are just faint touches of it here and there. I gathered some flaming carnelian leaves for my altar. I need some more, tho, to press for the rest of them. If the weather would just calm a bit and settle into fall, we'd have more colour.
Weather. Yes...we are supposed to get the leftovers of Hurricane Isobelle here on Friday. That could be interesting. I hope she doesn't go Supercane again and cause a lot of damage wherever she lands. I would like to see a hurricane, just once - storms fascinate me.
Alright. I have to work a bit more tonight before bed. Be well, all of you, and dream of autumn's burning gaze into deep blue northern waters. :) Beannachta.
