1. How many gods and goddesses do you honor and why?
Urk. O_o Well...let's see. Deities that have their own individual altars around the house? The Morrigan, Brighid, Cerrounos as Herne. Het-Heru, and Sekhmet...Manannan Mac Lir when the bathroom is large enough. I honour my ancestors and the little Fae at my main altar, but they're not really Shining Ones. And I have also been known to honour Bíle, Danu, Aine, Lugh, Macha, and The Cailleach.
Why these Shining Ones? Morrigan came first, and the doors opened on the rest. The Irish pantheon is my family; I have never felt more at home than I do with them. Het-Heru and Sekhmet are more recent arrivals, and certainly the first goddesses outside the Tuatha de Dannan that I have worked with. But I kept getting those lovely metaphysical boots to the head (and heart...and ass) that I could not ignore, hense why the ladies have joined our household.
2. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
With my tribe - but that's not really an answer. I can't think of anywhere else in the world I'd rather live than here in Ontario. This is my country. I feel a pull to Ireland, stone circles, other places with their own unique beauty, but I think somehow I'd always end up back here.
3. What was the happiest moment of your life?
The first morning I woke up wrapped in Jason's blankets. heh. He was cold, tho. :p
4. If there were one thing you could have, material, social, or something else, what would it be?
Perfect love and perfect trust. What a joy it would be to not have to worry about being lied to, being rejected. I would love a world in which jealousy and envy were gone. I would be in a wonderful place if everywhere I went had the atmosphere of love and acceptance ritual space has. It really annoys me to try and live my life by those five words, and to find it difficult if not nearly impossible. Too mamy people give me reason to be mistrustful. Too many people have hurt me for my heart to be truly open. :\ Yes. Perfect love and perfect trust.
5. What one thing would you want me to make for you if you and I didn't have to worry about money or time?
Oh. A series of simple, well-cut ritual robes in every colour of the rainbow, black, white, grey, and tye-dye. One set in a summer sheer fabric. another in a heavier cotton for winter wear. Also a black velvet cloak, with matching velvet arm warmers. Oh! And some custom-made altar cloths for all my altars. I worship your sewing machine.
