I haven't posted any pictures in a while, so I thought I'd do that today. I don't feel like I have anything else to say.

The Altar of Ninja Summoning

This is my silly candle from Value Village. It has alien saucers destroying the earth on the left side of the monkey with the cult paraphrenalia, and on his right side are doves diving at the earth, with one tied down surrounded by spear-wielding midgets. And YAY - it's the sacred colour of orange! It is surrounded by my plastic ninja army, and I plan to use this small shrine to summon demon-ninjas. Hehehe...I also smell burnt toast.

Wolf Mask Project

I keep those plastic Hallowe'en masks around for shits and giggles...this one will be finished, someday, to hang on my wall over my altar. I have one more left. I may try to make a raven. It's not one of those "Spirit Mask" things...just a decoration.

The Howl Wand

I'm calling this my howl wand, since I made it to take with me to SEhowl at the end of the month. I wanted something fun for this one - I also plan to use it during the Tribe Gather in the summer. Jason bought me some Glow-in-the-Dark clay to play with, so that's what this is capped in, with rainbow paw prints. I chose to use howlite for an accent stone, since I'm getting to like it, and I needed something from the crown chakra to help balance out all of the colour going on here. It glows so perty! The charms are another pawprint, a raven holding an amethyst on a crescent moon, and a small prismatic pentacle. I think it's very perky, surprisingly so for me.

OK...that's that. More beading today, more clay crud...woot. Talka you later.

Ha, the candle ROCKS.

I love the pretty wands. How long did they take to make?

The wands all depend on how elaborate they are, and how much clay I use.
A normal wand is only a few hours worth of work.

Since this one is mine, I only bound it in ribbon, not clay. It took about 45 minutes to cap both ends and bake the wand. Making the little danglies took me about an hour, though, and the clay charms another hour themselves. I like the danglies, but they're time-consuming and resource-consuming. I don't know that I'd do that again. :) Also, I took most of the day to glue the ribbon to the wand all the way down the shaft, and then give it a clear coat of glaze so it won't come off if it gets wet. So two days, in total, for that wand.

Great wand, Morg --- if I win another big scratch off ticket like I did a few days ago ($40), I'll send the loot your way for one like that if you have the time :) Why do I think "planet of the apes" when I see that candle? Have fun at that howl, you could use getting out of the cold.

Ok...be warned - It's $5 for each dangly bit at the end. They eat money making them. The wand pictured is very large - it's easily a $40 wand itself, without the added cost of the danglies. Figure shipping with insurance to be around $12.

Moo. Too rich for my pseudodragon-ish blood... but if I win big I might spend it all anyway on your stuff :) Off topic, are you coming back to mIRC any time soon?

Okay right..unlike your pack of ass kissers, I'll tell you what that really looks like. It looks like a gay pride lolipop you'd find in the worst tourist trap shop made by a five year old.

Heh...pot, meet kettle.

Don't waste your time here, Rainsong. You won't get the responses you want.
I have no quarrel with you....but don't come looking for one, either.
