I am here for a while, but tonight is Wolf Moon, and we're taking the trip down to Toronto again. :) I really enjoy going down there, and there's nothing out for my cats to break this time. cleasai's wood! Andrew's running ritual tonight again. I liked the last one...looking forward to this one, too.
I volunteered for a reiki workshop on the 26th - some Master-level students are going to practice on me and Liath. :) I am supposed to not wear jewelry, and drink some water first. Apparently the water aids the process of the energy, and it can take 8 days to 2 weeks to finish doing the changes it will make. Woo. Looking forward to it. I figure if I enjoy having it done to me, I might want to try learning some of it. I've always been curious about reiki - I know I can channel energy really well, and strongly, so I wonder what this will be like. If Liath's leg still isn't well by then I'll take her with me too. :)
I keep having dreams of children. Last night it was children, all carrying coloured flags. The night before I cradled a child in the ICU in my arms - he was dying. He reached out and held my finger with such a strong grip - shocking. So I picked him up and cradled him and sang softly to him...
Jason's going into a Battletech tournament Saturday - so *today* I started painting his minis. Argh. At least they all have a coat of primer on them now. I'll likely give them a simple, metallic pattern, gunmental drybrushed with silver, black and rust....
Woo. I'm running out of babble. I suppose that's good. I should wash some dishes and fold some laundry and pack...but the laundry sucks, and dishes always suck, and I'll probably just pack. I wonder if I should pick up some black cord at the Shop tonight? And incense...mmmrrrrr....so hard to resist incense. But I have no money of my own, and I don't want to beg Jason after he's driven us down there and fed us too. Mmmr. No worries...I'll figure it out.
