Dec. 26th, 2009 10:53 pmThe rain and snow mix have left everything completely iced over, but like rock sugar crystallizing the trees and ground. There is a thick fog, making it impossible to see more than a few feet in front of you. The moon hangs in a eerie, layered sky, a wan rainbow halo of crystalline air manifesting ghost-like, barely clinging to its' waxing edge.
It is, in a word, odd. It's hard not to slide between worlds when the edges blur like this. I (for one) have no inclination to stop myself from doing so, this night. See you on the other side.
