Tree Pattern Baldness? Tree Pattern Baldness?
Sept. 26th, 2009 Took a walk down by the river in Peterborough, right by the rail entrance to Quaker Oats. There's a sign here that has the Anishinaabe word for Peterborough - Nogijiwanong, or 'The Place at the End of the Rapids' - but I couldn't get a decent picture. Autumn is definetely underway.

One for Sorrow? One for Sorrow?
Sept. 26, 2009 This is the only crow who came out to play with me, but I counted 14 in the trees. They were merrily jawing away - almost as if to say "Where the hell have you been?"

Sept. 26th, 2009 I loved the soft mix of colours here.

Sept. 26, 2009 I don't know what this particular sculpture is called, but I've always liked it.

Sept 26, 2009 Well, not quite. This is facing north up the river, towards the Hunter St. bridge by Quaker Oats.

Sept. 26th, 2009 Lovely colour! Maples are my favorite tree in autumn.

Sept 26, 2009 It was also LGBT Pride in Peterborough this day; I saw a lot of colour out, but nothing as bright as this jacket. I want one!
S'Lime! S'Lime!
A Hallowe'een bottle of my favorite soda - it can be hard to find Lime Crush after Labour Day, but I guess not this year.

Sept. 26, 2009 I'm even smiling. It was a really nice day for a walk.

Tree Pattern Baldness. Tehe!

The colour is coming in faster here now. Wheeee!
One day you’ll walk the world
and keep in mind
The heart you’ve been given
in winter time
And through the bitter cold,
with opened eyes
You’ll find the strength to fight
and stand upright
