Do you wear any religious jewelry? Why or why not? If you do, what do you wear?

I guess it's pretty easy to guess that I have religious and spiritual jewelry. It's my business, as well as my pleasure. I take pride, and joy, in knowing I make beautiful things for people, designed in spirit as well as physical space. They are truly personalized, custom items.

I do own all sorts of symbols that have personal meaning to myself - pentacles, triskeles, spirals of all kinds, ravens, wolves. They're symbols that, in some cases, have a lot of ritual resonance, and they draw some of that built-up energy to me.

I've always been hopelessly attracted to small, shiny objects, from an early age. I wasn't allowed to own jewelry until I was old enough to take care of it, so I really didn't start wearing any until I was in high school.

Each pendant represents an idea - sometimes that idea is one that invokes memory of a place or experience, or a period of time, or a person. Some of them I wear just for their beauty, rather than any particular meaning. I consider beauty sacred, so they are also spiritual in nature, even if they're not a particular thing.

I don't wear things on chains anymore - not since the bead symbiote joined with me and began directing my daily life. :p As such, I have a lot of gemstone jewelry as well. I do have my favorite stones, but I have a little bit of everything in my collection. What I wear depends on the day, and the energy I'm looking for.

I tend to wear a lot of garnet and carnelian.

All my gemstone necklaces are designed so that they can be worn with or without a pendant. So I mix and match, as needed.

I have a small collection of ritual jewelry, that are pieces I only wear for ritual. It is very small, though, as I believe carrying the energy of the circle with me in daily life is a good thing.
