It's bloody snowing. Might as well suck it up, tho - snow until Friday, it looks like. The air in the house is really stale, and I'm starting to hate it immensely. All I want is to open my windows.

Computer's on the fritz again. It works for any period of time from 3 minutes to an hour, then freezes with no warning and sometimes won't reboot. Same old problem. Just need a new machine, really. I can't IM well when it's like this, and I often just leave the bloody thing turned off and go elsewhere in the house. So I won't be around so much.

I'm holding on, but damn if my fingers aren't ready to fall off.

That sounds like RAM to me. How many sticks of ram do you have in your computer? Try running with one removed, and if it still fails, remove the other one.

RAM's fine. We've swapped it all around a couple times, and it makes no difference. J and I think the motherboard cooked, at some point, and now it's dying a slow slow stupid death.

It is stable for long periods in between 3-7 days of stupidity. So who knows?
One day you’ll walk the world
and keep in mind
The heart you’ve been given
in winter time
And through the bitter cold,
with opened eyes
You’ll find the strength to fight
and stand upright
