Axe me three questions, and I'll tell you no lies. Or three answers. Woo.
(Can't you tell I'm bored?)

Sushi or sashimi?
What kind of classic car do you want?
Best all around stone/gem for *anything*?

Oh boy do I feel like a sack of wet cat crap.

1) Sashimi, if I can get it without having to order it a piece at a time. I'll eat sushi too, but the rice is sometimes too much and then I crave sweets badly afterwards.

2) The 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, bright frikkin' green with a stripe.

3) hmm. I think it's a pair. I'd say onyx, but to handle everything really well you want onyx and clear quartz together.

I only have one question really.
Say you're really attracted to the look, texture and vibe of Carnelian (seriously I love that stone like woah) but that its energy is much too high for someone who really should be calming down.
Are there any alternatives that look and feel similar but which has a calmer vibe?

There are multiple options:

1) Try a paler version of the carnelian. Typically you see it in deep reds and oranges, but it can also be milky-white or nearly so. The paler variety isn't as hyper.

2) Try red agate instead of carnelian. It isn't as intense, but has the same colouration.

3) Sunstone is a good alternative as well.

4) Try pairing your carnelian with another stone that will even out its' energies, and make them more calm. I would pick either a water-aligned stone, or a very earth-aligned stone. Water will balance the fire, and earth would ground it.

um...whatever works better for you. I think a water-clear point is usually the preference, but some people prefer the more feminine cloudy stuff, and others like the smooth polish rather than the point.
