You are a dog
Or maybe you are a mosquito, you certainly can't be human.

The highest pitched ultrasonic mosquito ringtone that I can hear is 21.1kHz
Test your own hearing at Ultrasonic ringtones

That's sort of frightening.

Interesting fact: When listening to something that rises in pitch and you can no longer hear it, you can sometimes hear it again at as it keeps rising. This is dependent on the resonating frequencies of your own ear canal.

i've been curious about this for a while. i had to go back and find your post... i was wondering where the limits are. see... theres a few problems with this. the hardware, software, and various conversions may not be representing the sound properly. on my laptop, i cant hear above about 16khz. i'm at a friends place now, and on his machine, which is hooked to nice big speakers and all, we can clearly hear any of them. problem is, we're not hearing the actual tone as advertized. the sound hardware is fucking it up somewhere and giving us a lower tone. i'm wondering how many of you guys have sound hardware thats messing things up and making you think you can hear superhuman tones =]

That was my thought, too. My hearing is pretty keen; I can hear dog whistles and shit like that, so I wouldn't be too surprised, but I had to figure there'd be some kind of distortion depending on the equipment.
One day you’ll walk the world
and keep in mind
The heart you’ve been given
in winter time
And through the bitter cold,
with opened eyes
You’ll find the strength to fight
and stand upright
