When the Apocalypse comes a few friends and I decided we'd find ourselves a prime herd of vegans and feed off them for a while...

but then I started thinking...it'd be like eating tofu. I don't eat tofu.

All I can say, that back when I feasted upon vegatarians (in the sexual sense) they did not.

*WEG*

Do vegans taste like tofu?

only if cooked wrong. I have no doubt in my mind you would not cook them to taste like Tofu.

I've been told that tofu tastes like whatever you cook it with...perhaps Vegans are the same? Mmmm...bacon & teriyaki grilled Vegan...

In any event, I've always thought of them as some kind of root vegetable, or a tuber. You know, earthy and grubby, in need of a solid scrubbing and some time in a deep fryer.

Would you ever really scrub the patchouli taste off?

Skin comes off, just like chicken. I've never run into a chicken breast that smelled like chicken coop.

And enough hickory will mask just about anything.

Still... Grass Roots remains the designated post-Apocalyptic-people-hunting point for the Viking, Feather & I.

Nope. Grassroots closed. It's gone.

Nope. They actually taste quite good. There should be a season on them; might help some local economies.

I akin human flesh to be similar to bear. With an omnivorous diet, bears and humans are alike. Bear meat from a bear who ate primarily meat doesn't taste very good, but meat from a bear who ate primarily plant matter is delicious (or so I hear... I myself have only eaten it once and that was ages ago).

Do you remember the website manbeef.com? I miss it. Good shiznit.

*LOL*

I never thought of the bear comparison. I've eaten bear, and liked it.
