witchscauldronI think I am cursed to have irritating neighbours.
One of them keeps a yappy pug who likes to pee on/in my kitchen window. It has since discovered I have cats and likes to bark at them when it's on a pee run.
This is mildly annoying...and slightly gross.
Leaving for dinner today the people on the other corner across from us were very loud, and fairly drunk. But hey, it's a holiday, and the last really "outdoor" one until the May 24. Hopefully I won't be hearing loud drunken voices outside again until then...although I'm not that hopeful, really.
This is also mildly annoying.
I find the last thing more than mildly annoying - a different neighbour playing VERY loud music - Beastie Boys, when we came home - at 11:30 at night. It was loud enough I could hear it through closed windows in a basement apartment...so...yeah.
Of course, it probably doesn't help that I'm not a fan of human beings, in general, and that I am very sensitive to noise. I don't like noise for noise's sake. Hurrah for holiday weekends, I guess, and being the new person on the block. :\
And, of course, I'm queasy and irritable right now. I need to get some sleep, and find a new stomach lining, mebbe. Sometimes I really wish I didn't need to eat.
