Failed to meditate, again. Argh.

I had planned to do it today, since we had nothing else planned, but plans changed to having dinner with family in Barrie. That was not a bad thing; very enjoyable, even if I am not an actual member of the baby 'cult'.

My niece is going to be a handful, as soon as she learns to crawl. As with every other small child I seem to have close contact with, she chewed on me, and then tried to steal my jewelry with her mouth. At least she likes shiny things.

Thunderstorms have brought us wind, and a slight reprieve from the heat and humidity. I hope it lasts a little while.
