Jul. 28th, 2005 09:29 amMom left yesterday. Was nice to see her, even if it did rain the whole time. Mom goes on vacation, and it rains. That's just the way of things. This visit was good because there were no plans. We wandered, we looked at stuff, and since we never had a schedule, we were never late for anything.
I finished the incense last night. I don't like trying to make incense on my own without a recipe. I don't think it smells terribly good, but it's done. I gave up with the elements (and myrrh ruins everything for me - I hate it) and went with colour, so my incense for Macha is mostly red - dragon's blood, pine, cedar powder, red sandalwood, and a little amber oil. I want to stick to making incense from other people's recipes for a while, at this point.
I'm up to the Gemboree today. I am hoping to find all the nice little things I need to do whatever it is I'm doing with the Rhiannon stuff, and maybe a treat for me. Gotta remember to dig out a list.
And of course, with a full and busy weekend in front of me, my uterus is trying to kill me. Didn't sleep well because of that, and I'm so sore I'm walking funny. Wooba.
Take care of yourselves - I'll see you on the other side of the weekend.
