Gobble gobble.
Oct. 14th, 2002 07:50 pmJason, Goddess love him, neglected to tell me that when we were at his parents this weekend he would be helping his stepfather build a new garage this weekend. Thinking that I would be able to go out, do stuff with J, visit his friends, or whatever, I didn't pack any of my drawing stuff, or my unfinished BoS, or any work at all. If he did tell me, I wasn't listening, I guess, or he told so many other people he just figured he'd already told me. That sometimes happens.
Jason, of course, was building a garage regardless of whether he told me he was or not. I was bored out of my mind for the weekend.
( Turkey weekend details. )
So we came home today - the cats had..well, messed all over the floor. I apparently can't leave them alone longer than an afternoon without them going apeshit. *sighs* Bleah. Got to mop the floor. I did some more cleaning, unpacked, and proceeded to decorate the house for Hallowe'en. I took some pictures of that, too, and my very lovely autumn altars. Again, I'll post it all somewhere when I get the pictures downloaded.
Anyone else notice the rest of the world is losing the apostrophe in Hallowe'en? It bugs me. My teachers used to give me hell in public school for forgetting that little thing...but it's ok now that Walmart and the rest of the world don't use it. Meh. It might be the evolution of the English language, but it still bugs me. :p
So there. Turkey weekend is over, and I have some nice things out of it. I'm now switching my focus to Saturday coming - we're going to the big Asian mall in Markham for a day-trip! Woo! :D I am also considering heading to Smiths Falls for Hallowe'en to be with my best friend, and maybe have a dumb supper or something. I'm done rambling now. Whee! Enjoy the Blood Moon as it waxes, and the thinning of the Veil as it comes...
