Rain.

Yes, it's raining. A good, steady downpour that is exactly what we need. More rain = brighter colours for fall. Bring it on! I like it when it's rainy. No sunlight to deal with, then. I love the sound of it falling outside. A good day to curl up and wait for mail on. It's a good steady downpour. There's something blissful about sitting before my altar, soft glow of candles the only light in a lavendar-tinted gloom, listening to the patter of rain.

I didn't get out for my moonwalk last night. It was cloudy and rainy, and Jason and I got...um...sidetracked. Yeah, that's a good term for it....sidetracked. I've been kinda riding this borderline insomnia for a few days now anyway; if I didn't go to bed, I wouldn't sleep. As it is I stare into space for about an hour afterwards anyway. If I stayed up, I wouldn't be able to sleep at all. Might as well keep doing what's working...

Since it's raining, there's no moonwalk for me tonight. :\ Mebbe I'll do an esbat rite....maybe I'll just sit and meditate...maybe I won't do anything at all. :\ That's the most likely choice.

Ah well. Enjoy the rain while it lasts, eh?

Yay elfy!! Elfy-sis sent me a package in the mail for my birthday, and it arrived today. :) Two very cool books, which I will probably read at a voracious rate, and a pretty shiny!! Perty necklace, all black and red glass with bloody little teardrops and moonstone-like claws surrounding a white round bead. :) Is awesome!! Morrigan likes - and so do I.
