Yay! I know Autumn doesn't officially start for a while, but it started for me this weekend...I'm glad. Summer needed to die.

It was a long weekend...no, really LONG feeling. Tiring. I had a unkind visit from Aunt Flo, still ongoing, that makes me think she's trying to turn my uterus inside out with her foot. :\ Cramps suck.

It was nice to see Jason's dad and stepmother again. They seem to be doing quite well. J's brother Jeff has a nice house, and I love his couch, even if you can't sleep on it. I sliced my finger open with my razor this weekend, and my second thought after "OW" was "Can't bleed on Jeff's carpets". Pretty silly... :p But a nice house.

We visited with Jason's Mom and Ernie too. Linda bought me a nice Winnie the Pooh and Tigger ornament - I likes it. :) I got to pick thimbleberries from the bushes and eat them, with purple stained fingers...listened to the crows in the wind of the trees. Was nice.

I wish I hadn't been all strung out and sickish this weekend. I might have enjoyed it more. :) I have many pretty beads to make necklaces now...I just need some plain larger black ones, some red ones, and a nice peacock blue-ish shade, and I'm set.

Shinies. Mrrr. Anyway...I'm home again. I love my bed.

My cats trashed the house when we were gone. :\ Damn kittens! I hate having to clean before I unpack. :( Ah well. Kittens are going to their respective homes this week or so. Yay! I'll just have the little grey female - we call her
Nephthys, or Friday. She's "our girl Friday"...if that makes any sense. :p

So yeah...I have some work to do this week, but I'll be around. Mebbe.

One day you’ll walk the world
and keep in mind
The heart you’ve been given
in winter time
And through the bitter cold,
with opened eyes
You’ll find the strength to fight
and stand upright
