felinaeus, khydeeaunta, and oni_neko were most excellent company, and we had a very laid back time. I think I might have spoiled them a bit with good food, but that's what a host is for. ;)
The con game had a few minor irks, like space allotments and the fire alarm going off, but it was an excellent game for 4 hours. Most people (including myself) were lamenting it couldn't go longer. Other Jeff looked excellent in his tribal face-paint, there were lots of great scenes run, and I think we've picked up a new player out of it all. :) Many thanks to our travelling Ottawa Justicar and his retinue! I must do this again sometime.
I must say that I think Greyhound's website needs a kick in the teeth...it didn't match their printed schedule and pooroni_neko looked like she was swallowing nails at a couple of points. Thankfully we got her on her bus just in time.
The sad part of the weekend: I'm still totally sick. It's mostly out of my throat, but now it's in my lungs. I'm really short of breath a lot of the time, and coughing up stuff I only want to see in a sealed petri dish after this. Ew. We spent yesterday lying around watching movies and relaxing because of this. I squeak when I laugh.
Ok. So very tired. I need to get some more drugs, and some more sleep. Thanks for the weekend, guys. :)
